SokK I'm usually more into DarkSynth and other "darker" Music, yet when I pick something brighter, it's definitely unique and worth the try. Well, Zero Call was a mindblowing discovery. I never imagined such a catchy and retro gem was hiding behind this "serious" art on the
cover. Just listen to it, and listen to that slapped bass sample in Living Machines, that's when the album had me. Favorite track: Living Machines.

Shaun Byrne I was convinced on first listen I had to have this in my collection. Still praying for a vinyl release as well, but digital will get me by until then. Highly recommend this one!!!!!!!!!! Favorite track: Living Machines.

Dronedisco After several plays I can say with certainty that this album comes out from the boring synthwave context and taking the best of later 70' and early 80'. Strong themes and incredible sound design, one of the best releases of 2018... Favorite track: Others Will Follow.

about

Zero Call (born Andrea P) debuts on JST with his second LP "Fears And Dreams Of Living Machines". A lethal mix of Italo Disco, French Touch and ‘80s Electronica with ten new original songs (plus 2 videos), which not only showcase the Italian artist’s ability to produce Electronic music through analog instruments and gear but also the maturity of Andrea P both as a composer and story-teller.

“Zero Call was born from the need to communicate, through Electronic music, the social contradictions of the past and anxieties (with the new album) of the new century” explains Andrea P when asked where he draws inspiration from.

In 2018 capitalism is about to be replaced by the greatest disruption of all time. Soon 10 billion humans will all live in mid-low class and make slaves of technology. The Living Machines will serve man from birth to be able to map every possible value: health status, tendencies, resistances, intelligence or not, tolerance to frustration or orders.

The largest corporations will use this data to understand what stimulus to give and who; who to cure and who to not. To do this they use the most advanced technologies, artificial intelligence and hardware of unimaginable performance, to implement the most massive and monstrous mass control project in history.

Ladies and gentlemen, the war on living machines and ourselves can begin. Welcome to the future…
