Monster

about

In a retro-futuristic world of desolation where humans no longer have interest for love, art or happiness the Electro-musician duo of Acid Arcade (Jack Rose and Gin Tonic) have one mission; bring back music to their world.

Out of sight, they create vocal driven, colourful and melodic retro-futuristic music inspired by their adventures, experiences and vision for this dystopia.

Mixing sounds and influences from the '80s, '90s and 2010s, their music can sometimes be energetic and sometimes dreamy, restless or calm.

Love, hatred, hope and despair are some of the themes Acid Arcade deal with on their 7 track debut 'Walk Alone' and they have definitely delivered.

lyrics

ACID ARCADE "MONSTER"
(Lyrics & Vocals by Jack Rose & Gin Tonic)

Verse 1:

Like everybody's tape
On the radio

Monster gets the mic and tells what people wanna hear
The weather makes me mad
But everybody knows
Come on and and listen it’s time go, to drive, to figure out

All that we have been before
We Don’t need this, time is better
We all need to fix it this time

Chorus 1:

I need to leave your steps
Leave me alone
I need to leave your steps
Don't come into my space

I need to leave your steps
Whatever you’re saying you’ll be mine
I need to leave your steps
Whatever you’re saying you’ll be mine

Verse 2:

Like everybody's tape
On the radio

Monster gets the mic and tells what people wanna hear
The weather makes me mad
But everybody knows
Come on and and listen it’s time go, to drive, to figure out

All that we have been before
We Don’t need this, time is better
We all need to fix it this time

Chorus 2:

I need to leave your steps
Leave me alone
I need to leave your steps
Don't come into my space

I need to leave your steps
Whatever you’re saying you’ll be mine
I need to leave your steps
Whatever you’re saying you’ll be mine
I need to leave your steps
Whatever you’re saying you’ll be mine
I need to leave your steps
Whatever you’re saying you’ll be mine
